CJC/Ipamorelin has become one of the more talked-about peptide combinations in the performance and healthy-aging world.
But what exactly is it?
The easiest way to understand CJC/Ipamorelin is that it doesn't provide growth hormone directly. Instead, these peptides are used to signal your own body to release more growth hormone.
And the two peptides approach that signaling in different ways.
CJC refers to a peptide designed to act on the growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) receptor.
GHRH is one of the signals your hypothalamus uses to tell the pituitary gland to release growth hormone.
Think of CJC as strengthening one side of the body's natural growth hormone signaling pathway.
Depending on the formulation, you may hear people refer to CJC-1295 with or without DAC. That distinction is very important because it changes how long the peptide remains active.
